All Star Elite is the complete competitive experience. Previous experience in cheer, gymnastics, or tumbling is required. This is for athletes that want to be "all in," and requires a higher commitment level and elevated performance expectations. Elite athletes have strong foundational cheer and tumbling training and are dedicated to the sport. They will perform their 2:30 routine at events and are scored on both difficulty and execution of skills with high range difficulty requirements. The team is evaluated by judges and a placement is received in their division against other teams of the same age group and level.
Elite runs on a full season (10.5-11.5 months) with twice weekly practices. Interested athletes will attend Evaluations in May and begin team practices in June. Mini/Youth/Junior Elite Level 1 teams attend 6-7 competitions, and Youth/Junior/Senior Elite Level 2 teams attend 8-9. They attend a combination of one-day & two-day events across the Midwest from November-April/May, and also perform at 2 in-house showcases. End of Season event travel to Orlando is possible for Youth Summit (Youth teams) and/or D2 Summit (Junior, Senior teams). Mini Elite and any other team not traveling to Orlando will compete at Regional Summit as their End of Season Event.
We offer All Star Elite teams for ages 8-18 (birth years 6/1/2004-2015). Teams are formed in levels in which they can have a successful season, meaning most of the athletes can perform the elite level appropriate skills in both tumbling and stunting for their level. Athletes are divided onto teams based on their birth year, skill level, and stunting position.
