All Star Prep is our moderate commitment level competitive program. Having some previous experience in our FUNdamentals or Novice programs is recommended, but is not required. Prep is a good fit for an athlete who wants to compete, but needs a little more time to develop their skills before transitioning to an Elite team, or someone who wants to compete with less of a commitment. This is also where most of our younger athletes begin their competitive journeys. They will perform their 2:00 routine at events that is scored on both difficulty and execution of skills with advanced difficulty requirements. The team is evaluated by judges and a placement is received in their division against other teams of the same age group and level.
Prep runs on a full season (10 - 11 months) with twice weekly practices, except during summer months where they are once weekly. Interested athletes will attend Evaluations in May and begin team practices in June. Prep teams attend 5-6 competitions from November-April, and also perform at
2 in-house/local showcases. Competitions are one-day, with the possibility of attending one two-day event.
For the 2025-2026 season, we offer All Star Prep teams for ages 6-18 (birth years 6/1/2006-2018). Teams are formed in levels in which they can have a successful season. Athletes are divided onto teams based on their birth year, skill level, and stunting position.
