In our Flyer Training classes, we will utilize drills and exercises to improve each athlete's confidence and overall abilities as a flyer. We will focus on proper body alignment, awareness, control, flexibility, and performance. Stunting elements, such as twisting skills, tic tocs, and switch ups will be taught at ground level to prepare them to utilize those skills in the air on their teams. All body positions will be covered, including liberty, heel stretch, front stretch, bow and arrow, scorpion, scale, and arabesque.
These classes are offered on weeknights and are 30 minutes in length. Athletes must be age 6 or older and must have previous cheer experience, but flying experience is not required. You can enroll anytime, as long as there is an opening in the class.
